Local financial planning business leads the industry

Adelaide based financial planning business Wealth By Design is at the forefront of its industry, becoming the first in Australia to achieve the FP 9000 certification under the standard developed by SAI Global in conjunction with MLC Limited.

Financial Planning 9000 – Quality Management for Financial Planning Practices (FP9000) incorporates all of the requirements of ISO 9001 and thereby provides an excellent framework of internationally accepted quality business management principles and practices.

This means Wealth By Design has been independently assessed to have quality systems and processes in place to deliver for clients – now and in the future.

It also means that it can use the internationally-recognised ‘five tick’ mark of quality.

Tim Rogers, principal adviser, said: “Being the first financial planning business in Australia to achieve certification is tremendously exciting for us.

Tim says certification will give clients confidence that the business is well run and will be around in years to come.

Wealth By Design was borne from the background experience and vision of its two founding partners, Rory Mooney and Tim Rogers. On 1 July 2003 Wealth By Design was launched with the express purpose of providing quality financial advice to clients around the creation, protection and succession of their wealth.

The new quality certification program was launched by SAI Global in September 2007.  The benefits of having a management system based on Financial Planning 9000 include:
